As we've seen Germany encourages most students to return to their home country when they've completed their studies. Although there are moves to mirror what is standard practice in many other countries and allow more students - and especially highly gifted students - to stay here in Germany and plug skills gaps in the economy. So, who are these foreign students and where do they come from?
