Why some African leaders are buried abroad

The deaths of African leaders abroad have long attracted controversies, with disputes over repatriation and burial. Some died as exiles. Others, such as former Zambian President Edgar Lungu, died while receiving medical support. Lungu's family does not want Lungu buried in Lusaka, because of a longstanding feud with the current government.
