Widespread support among european leaders for plans to impose a levy on financial institutions

European Union leaders are holding talks in Brussels on reforms to prevent future debt crises within the EU. They are looking at ways to strengthen budget discipline and co-ordinate economic policy among the 27 members states. There appears to be widespread support for plans to impose a levy on financial institutions. The meeting comes ahead of a G20 summit next week.
