In Cameroon, voters are heading to the polls to elect a new president. The country's long-time leader, Paul Biya, is still in the running and is expected to win his eighth term. His reign of more than 40 years has been marred by allegations of intimidation of the opposition and corruption.

Cameroon's long-time President Paul Biya is running again — with just one campaign appearance. His confidence seems unshaken, despite allegations of vote manipulation and opposition suppression. Young attendees at rallies say they're paid to show up, while critics call for change amid corruption and unemployment. Yet Biya's supporters praise his "maturity" — and he could stay in power until age 99.
