Wood Thieves Target the Rhineland's Forest

With heating costs steadily rising, freshly chopped wood has become a hot commodity in Germany. In the town of Neuwied, in the Rhineland, three truckloads worth disappeared all at once. Now the police are patrolling forests in the regions and access roads are being secured with steel barriers.
