#Welcome back. The backdrop to the G-20 summit in Seoul is one of deep divisions between leading economies. They've failed to narrow differences on exchange rates and on avoiding sustained imbalances in trade and capital flows. The rancor follows a rejection by countries from China to Germany of US calls for a cap on trade surpluses. Without agreement in Soeul - the world could face a wave of protectionism.
