If only our eyes had teeth.This German word puts a whole new spin on how you see - or taste - things.

Grab a tissue, because when you see an Augenschmaus your mouth is bound to water. Or maybe even your eyes, even though it's your stomach that will celebrate the most. Augenschmaus, literally "eye feast," usually refers to edible delicacies that aren't only tasty but also beautiful.

Admittedly, the word is sometimes used by older gentlemen to refer to a pretty, young woman. Either way, an Augenschmaus arouses multiple senses.
