Although some 37 million cases of TB were treated or prevented through proper care between 2000 and 2013, the World Health Organization says the diseases is "second only to HIV/AIDS as the greatest killer worldwide due to a single infectious agent." This report from the slums of Mumbai introduces those who should be at the centre of the old and the new global development goals, but who are too poor to keep themselves healthy and too poor to seek treatment.
