The Yazidi people suffered intense persecution in the summer of 2014 when "Islamic State" militants overran northern Iraq. Many fled, and a large diaspora now lives abroad. One member of the Yazidi community who fled to Germany describes the persecution he suffered in Iraq and why he does not want to return.
