Gen Z men are increasingly finding purpose, community and their political orientation via faith in the United States. Many of them support the Republican Party led by President Donald Trump.

Gen Z had long been considered skeptical of religion. But a new trend is emerging in the United States: Young conservative men are finding the Christian faith in their quest for meaning, values and moral orientation in an ever more chaotic world. Many of them support the Republican Party led by President Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, more liberal congregations are criticizing the increasingly blurry lines between religion and nationalism in the United States. The American Pope Leo XIV has criticized Trump's policies.

How entangled are politics and religion in the United States? And what role will that play in future elections?
