For decades, Myanmar was sealed off between China, India and Thailand by a military dictatorship, and ostracized by the international community. After the country’s cautious opening, much now seems possible.

In 2015, a common free trade zone is to be created. How do people on the ground assess the situation? Thura Ko belongs to the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders Network. He’s a financial expert and has returned to Myanmar after many years.
