A Berlin start-up has taken aim at German living rooms. In 2010, André Lutter launched a company that creates acrylic and oil paintings based on photographs. The customers themselves determine the format and style. Lutter employs 400 artists in China on a fee basis. Last year alone, YourPainting sold 11,000 paintings.
