中国维权人士陈光诚计划写一本有关其捍卫人权的斗争的书。陈的发言人马特·道尔夫(Matt Dorf)周四在纽约表示,这位盲人维权人士有三个目标:为自己家乡的更多自由而呼吁、支持自己的家庭,以及帮助人权组织募集资金。陈光诚目前还没有开始动笔写作,但他希望未来几周内和出版商见面。在北京和华盛顿之间僵持了一个月的外交危机之后,陈光诚得以离开中国前往美国。此前,他在中国遭受了总共七年的监禁和软禁生活,并于4月底逃往美国驻京大使馆。
